I am Shafii Gongomeko, a Tanzanian Social Impact & Leadership Advocate, Bachelor of Laws student and community leader committed to advancing the rights, dignity, education and opportunities of children and young people.

My passion for child and youth empowerment is rooted in the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, develop their talents,understand their rights and grow in an environment where their dignity and potential are respected.

Through my leadership, community engagement and digital platforms, I use my voice to share knowledge, create awareness, connect young people with opportunities and encourage communities to take greater responsibility for the wellbeing and future of the younger generation.

As the Founder and Executive Director of Africa Civic Dialogue Series (ACDS), I work to empower communities through dialogue and action. I also serve as General Secretary of the MWECAU Human Rights Club, where I contribute to human rights awareness and education and as Regional Coordinator of Tanzania Leadership Foundation (TLF) Kilimanjaro, supporting leadership development and youth empowerment.

My advocacy is guided by a simple conviction children should not only be protected they should be heard, educated, empowered and given the opportunity to shape their future.
I seek to use my voice, knowledge, and leadership platforms to contribute to a generation where every child can say, “My rights matter, my voice matters, and my future matters.” For me, advocacy is not about speaking for children alone; it is about creating spaces where children are informed, respected, heard and empowered to become agents of positive change.

I am Shafii Gongomeko, a Tanzanian Social Impact & Leadership Advocate, Bachelor of Laws student and community leader passionate about empowering young people, promoting human rights and creating meaningful social impact through dialogue, education and collective action.

I am the Founder and Executive Director of Africa Civic Dialogue Series (ACDS) an initiative focused on empowering communities through dialogue and action. I also serve as General Secretary of the MWECAU Human Rights Club where I contribute to human rights awareness and educational initiatives among students and communities.

Beyond my university responsibilities I serve as Regional Coordinator of Tanzania Leadership Foundation (TLF) Kilimanjaro, supporting leadership development, civic engagement and youth empowerment.

My leadership journey is guided by the belief that leadership is not merely about holding a position, but about using knowledge, opportunities and influence to serve others and create positive change. Through my work, I strive to inspire young people to lead with integrity, compassion, responsibility and purpose.

My influence extends beyond the classroom through my digital platforms student leadership and community initiatives I create and share content that encourages young people to pursue education, develop leadership skills, understand their rights, discover opportunities and participate meaningfully in their communities.

I am the Founder and Executive Director of Africa Civic Dialogue Series (ACDS) an initiative focused on empowering communities through dialogue and action. I also serve as General Secretary of the MWECAU Human Rights Club, mp and minister of legal, constitution, gender and reconciliation at Mwenge Catholic University students organization (mwecauso) 2026/2027 and Regional Coordinator of Tanzania Leadership Foundation (TLF) Kilimanjaro, where I contribute to human rights education, youth leadership, civic engagement and community development.

I have used my platforms to amplify opportunities, promote responsible leadership,encourage community solidarity and make complex issues—particularly around leadership, rights, education and social responsibility more accessible to young people.

To me, being an influencer is not simply about visibility. It is about responsibility: what I teach, what I inspire, who I empower, and what people do differently because they encountered my voice. I aspire to build a generation of informed, confident,compassionate and purpose-driven young leaders who understand that they can be both the beneficiaries and the architects of positive change.

My influence is my platform; my purpose is impact.

I Shafii Gongomeko a Tanzanian Bachelor of Laws student at Mwenge Catholic University (MWECAU), a Social Impact & Leadership Advocate, and a passionate youth leader committed to advancing leadership, civic engagement, human rights awareness and community development.

I have served in various student leadership roles at MWECAU, including Member of Parliament and Minister for Constitution & Legal Affairs while also contributing to student welfare, health initiatives and human rights education. I currently serves as General Secretary of the MWECAU Human Rights Club, where he has been involved in initiatives aimed at increasing students’ and communities’ awareness of human rights.

Beyond university leadership, AM the Founder & Executive Director of Africa Civic Dialogue Series (ACDS), an initiative focused on empowering communities through dialogue and action. I also serves as Regional Coordinator of TLF Kilimanjaro, promoting leadership development, civic engagement and youth empowerment.

My leadership journey is rooted in the belief that meaningful leadership is not about titles but about using opportunities, knowledge and influence to create positive change.

Through academic pursuits, student governance, community engagement, and youth-focused initiatives,I continue to champion a culture of responsible leadership and purposeful service.
