Biography – Global Incoming MCA of the Year

Lucky Karisa is a young Kenyan leader, community development advocate, agripreneur, and emerging public servant from Kilifi County, committed to creating meaningful and sustainable change at the grassroots level.

With a strong passion for good governance, youth empowerment, community development, and effective project management, Lucky has dedicated himself to initiatives that seek to improve livelihoods and create opportunities for young people and local communities. His experience in community-focused programmes, digital agriculture, agripreneurship, and project management has strengthened his understanding of the challenges facing communities and the practical solutions needed to address them.

Lucky is a Certified Professional Project Management graduate with a growing reputation for combining youthful energy, strategic thinking, accountability, and community engagement. He believes leadership should be measured not only by positions held, but by the positive impact created in people's lives.

As an aspiring Member of County Assembly (MCA) for Mnarani Ward, Lucky is championing a vision centered on inclusive development, accountable leadership, youth participation, economic empowerment, improved public services, and responsible use of public resources. Through his community engagement and grassroots approach, he continues to encourage young people to take an active role in shaping the future of their communities.

His leadership philosophy is grounded in the belief that young people should not merely be the leaders of tomorrow—they should be empowered to lead and create change today.

Lucky Karisa represents a new generation of African leadership: youthful, visionary, community-driven, accountable, and development-oriented.
